System Enginner specializing in High Voltage DCDC Converter for ePowertrain systems, OBC
System Level Simulation(h/w) - Experience in MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS/SPICE.
Experience with design validation and testing of power electronics systems, including thermal analysis, EMC testing, and environmental testing.
Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and procedures for the high voltage DCDC converter/charger/inverter subsystem.
Coordinate testing activities, including functional testing, thermal testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and environmental testing.
Strong knowledge of power electronics, including converter topologies, power semiconductors, passive components, magnetics
Primary Skills
Familiarity with control system design and implementation for power converters.
Understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and functional safety concepts.
Knowledge of high voltage battery systems, electric machine drives, and electric vehicle powertrain architecture.
Experience in Modellica,
thermal management.

Perform first hand analysis of the failures during testing and provide feedback to relevant team (Hardware/Software/Testing..) for further debugging and analysis.
Component Selection and Validation: Identify and select suitable components for the high voltage DCDC converter, including power semiconductors, passive components, magnetics, and cooling systems. Collaborate with suppliers and conduct thorough validation to ensure component reliability and compliance with specifications.
Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and procedures for the high voltage DCDC converter subsystem. Coordinate testing activities, including functional testing, thermal testing, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and environmental testing. Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to ensure compliance with performance and safety requirements.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, design guidelines, test reports, and validation reports.
Present progress updates and technical findings to project stakeholders.
